Shiv and Raju, two innocent little brothers, closer than friends, sacrificed all childhood pleasures to help their sick mother. But after her death the cruel hand of fate separated these two youngsters; they drifted apart to the sprawling metropolis of Bombay, searching desperately for each other.
in the big city, dogged by poverty on all sides, the two youngsters were gradually sucked into the open jaws of the underworld. Shiv Kumar fought his way up and finally rose to the position of a fabulous smuggler and underworld king.
On the other side of the same city Raju had fallen in with a notorious pick-pocket. He grew up to become a princely figure among the masters of the light-fingered trade.
The two brothers came face to face one day not as brothers, but as enemies. The root cause of their enemity was Kamini, the beautiful daughter of a multi-millionaire.
Each brother tried to win over Kamini from the other. Kumar Sahib put all the weight of his great power in the balance; while Raju used all the cunning tricks of a fox to out-smart the underworld king. Then fate stepped into their lives again and upset all their cards.
Kamini landed in Kumar Sahib's hands. A series of upheavals in his personal life had changed the underworld king vastly with the passage of time. Kumar Sahib offered all the hospitality at his command to Kamini.
Raju's attempts to contact Kamini were foiled by the intervention of Kumar sahib who looked upon Raju as a heart-less fortune-hunter. Their enmity was intensified by his misunderstanding; they began to thirst for each other's blood.
Raju laid a trap for Kumar Sahib and handed him over to his arch-enemy, Ranjit, for a price. Kumar Sahib faced the prospect of meeting death at the hands of his old enemy, Ranjit.
It was almost too late when Raju discovered that Kumar Sahib was his own long-lost brother...
Did the two brothers meet again? Did Raju wash away his sins? Did Kamini forgive him for what he had done?
